Taay’lor-Imani is a dynamic communications strategist with a proven track record of excellence in corporate communications, public relations and educational equity. Taay’lor-Imani has a passion for amplifying bold Black voices and creating spaces for innovation, empowerment and cultural storytelling. With a graduate degree in Corporate Communications and Public Relations from John Hopkins University, Taay’lor-Imani seamlessly blends strategic vision with empathetic leadership. Her career has been defined by her dedication to breaking systemic barriers at the intersection of communication, education and technology. She is deeply committed to fostering equity and inclusion, particularly for undeserved communities, by designing innovative programs and leveraging communication tools to create transformative impact.

Taay’lor-Imani’s professional journey has positioned her alongside influential policymakers, media/fashion gurus and educational leaders including the U.S. Secretary of Education, Glenna Wright-Gallo and Sara Meed, Deputy superintendent of Early Learning OSSE DC. She has also collaborated with global trailblazers such as mentor Farai Simoyi, British-Zimbabwean fashion designer and head of Virgil Abloh ‘Post-Modern’ Scholarship Fund and Equity, and Dr. Antoinette Mitchell, Interim Superintendent of OSSE DC. These partnerships underscore Taay’lor-Imani’s ability to engage with change makers while remaining firmly rooted in the communities she serves.

By championing Blacktivity’s mission to dismantle traditional gatekeeping systems, she ensures that Black creators have access to the tools, mentorship and opportunities needed to thrive.
