Blacktivity is proud to join forces with The Film Lord to present the inaugural Stonegate West Film Festival from July 25 to 27, 2025, in St. Louis. Hosted at 24 : 1 Cinema, the festival is billed as “the first ever all‑inclusive international film festival,” welcoming filmmakers from every background to share their creative vision  .

A bold new platform for underrepresented voices

Founded by The Film Lord, a respected figure in the STL creative scene, Stonegate West was born out of a desire to create a truly equitable space—one where Black, POC, and traditionally marginalized filmmakers gain access on an equal footing (). The festival aims to eliminate barriers and foster a sense of belonging and visibility for all practitioners.

Amplifying Black‑owned spaces & leveling the playing field

Blacktivity’s partnership signals a committed push to uplift Black‑owned and operated cultural hubs. Through collaboration with Stonegate West and The Film Lord, Blacktivity underscores its mission: amplifying Black art, expanding access, and leveling the playing field for filmmakers and creatives. This partnership supports inclusive programming, outreach, and celebration of artistic expression in Black‑owned spaces.
